Hello, I created a vibrant Petri dish, resin pendant using piñata alcohol inks. A few weeks ago, the colors we very bright and today, it looks very dull. I haven’t really had it in direct sun. I did sand it a little, could this have affected it? I noticed a little color coming off when I did a wet sand but it didn’t seem significant. I appreciate your help!

      Hi Holly,

I’m sorry this happened to you. It’s happened to me too! Some brands of alcohol ink don’t maintain their color in resin.

ICE resin tints are alcohol-based and designed for use in resin. They are the only ones I will use for colors. (I still use the Pinata white for petris).

You can find the tints in our store here: https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/liquid-colorants/products/ice-resin-color-tints-1
