Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to apply a gloss spray over a master part that is going to be molded to get a shiny cast without sanding? The part is small and intricate so sanding maybe a little tough so I would like to try to avoid it.

Hi Cameron,

I would expect this to work IF you were very thorough in applying mold release to the item before casting it. My concern is whether or not the molding material would pull the shiny surface off of your model.
