Basically I had a large piece of my son’s hair put in a resin paperweight. I wanted it done because looking back on his little white hair bun would always remind me of that time (his hair has now darkened to brown)
I gave the woman doing it the whole story and explained exactly what I wanted and i really wished she had warned me that the hair would not look blonde or sit in a full bun like what i cut off os head because thats how he always wore it but a flat dark tide up piece of hair. I would never have gone through with it.
So basically I want to know if something can be taken out of resin. Can the hair be taken out? I thought Ido get over it but I’m so upset it doesn’t look anything like his hair. I should have put it in a baseball ball box.

Hi Simone,

I’m sorry to hear the project did not work out the way you wanted it to. I’m afraid there isn’t a way to get the hair back out. The resin cannot be liquefied again.
