I’ve been watching a lot of resin casting on YouTube, and it looks like fun. I’d like to get started but I have two questions: what should I buy, and what should I make.

I don’t have a pressing need for things made out of resin, but I’d like to make something. I don’t have a lathe, so turning is out. I realize that I will have to spend some money to get started, and I don’t want to buy the cheapest things available just because they are cheap. I saw the CA pressure pot for about $250, and that seems like a better choice than the Harbor Freight for $99.

Any and all ideas gladly accepted.
