I wonder if I put the glitter in too soon…the glitter is all pulling away from the edges of my silicone mold. Right now its come in about 1/8″ from the edges.

      What did I do wrong?

Strange!  Is it sinking too?  Are you using a coarse glitter or a fine glitter?  Is your resin curing okay otherwise?

Heres the first one, that pulled from the edges.

Tried a new one, let it cure for an hour before applying glitter (fell asleep!) With the second pour this happened:
I dont know what Im doing wrong. The glitter is very fine too.

There is probably some physics equation that explains things, but I’m not that smart.  😉

My other thought is that with a mold that deep and a pour that shallow, it’s probably very hard to get the glitter right up next to the edge.  You may have to get with a shallower mold.  Either that or you’re going to have to dump more glitter on, which may not give you the nice stripes you’re trying to make.  We have heart molds for resin in our store here:  https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/molds/hearts
