I am trying to create a riverbed table with pine and resin, but have to figure out a good mold to hold the edges flat and keep everything in place. What sorts of wood would work to created a border that would be removed easily from the resin, and would covering my mold (or in this case I guess more of a clamp system) in wax paper help it be removed easier?
      Thanks!!

I am also looking to make a riverbend table. I’ve done a few live edge bar tops in the past. I Have had some luck on my last using A high end Tile shower lining that a plumber left me. Worked great but my wife tossed it out. I have not been able to replace it am am looking for alternates. My table is going to be about 1-1/2″ deep what would you recommend for resin/epoxy. Last time I made multiple pours with big box store epoxy and it worked fine, just took forever. Any thoughts on alternatives? I do want to color my resin. When i find out the backing material i will be sure to post it.
