“The lockets are window lockets, but there is no backing to hold the resin in place.  What can I do to keep the resin in place so that it sets?”

Heather,

You will want to press your open backed pendants firmly onto a piece of masking tape.  Make sure to press around all the edges well so there is a good seal to keep resin from running out underneath.

The masking tape will give a textured surface to that side of the resin, so you may need to sand or pour a thin layer of resin over that surface to get it to look smooth again.
