I have two perfectly preserved lizard skeletons, one about three inches the other just about one and half inch.

I want to make a paperweight for my grandson with these but am afraid of breaking the skeletons.

      How should I proceed?

this is my first time using resin.

      Hi Marcia,

I would also worry too about the skeletons being delicate.  If I were to do this, I would put the skeletons on a piece of wax paper.  I would then coat them with the resin I was going to use.  It will puddle around the skeletons, but dont worry.  Once it has cured, you can gently peel the resin (with the skeleton in it) away from the wax paper.  Now, treat it like an inclusion and cast it in your next resin pour.
