      Hi everyone!
We are a resin total beginner-enthusiast couple who moved to a new apartment and decided to transform a normal height dinner table into a counter height table ( like a bar table and bar chairs, but as a dinner table).

We planned to buy a oakwood 180x 90cm table with rectangular legs which will allow us to mold a resin squared block ■ around 20x20cm.
My husband is super sure and motivated, but i wonder before we start this, if there is resin (type?) that has resistance enough to hold a whole oakwood table and a full dinner display, for example, on top of that without crack and traumatize the guests ? Hehe…

I see online many table tops, not bottoms.

      Best regards
      Julianna & Thomas

      Hi Juliana,

In my opinion, resin would not be a good choice for a project like this. One that’s strong enough to hold a table will also be brittle. I worry that it would break.
