I have a challenge! I’m in the process of making a lake table (like a river table but, you guessed it, with lakes). I’d like to fill the basin of carved lake depths with a transparent resin that is dyed to the average color of the water, which I calculated from satellite imagery. The wavelength of light is 549 and the hex color code is #a0ff00 (input 549 to this website: https://academo.org/demos/wavelength-to-colour-relationship/ to see what I’m talking about). Any thoughts on how to get a transparent resin dye to match that exact color? Is that something that can be custom-ordered?
