Hello, I had a pet hissing cockroach and he just passed and I’d like to preserve him in resin. He is thick so I’m assuming juicy inside, and I dont want him to rot once in resin. How do I dry him out so I can preserve him? I want to make sure he looks nice, I dont want him to look awful, as I’d like to remember him well. Thanks!

To let the roach dry internally puncture the thorax with a needle and leave for a week or two (with moth balls) and it should dry out and be able to be put in resin. Look at preserving insects online.
