I have a blown glass ornament that was my mom’s that I would like to encase in resin to preserve it. It is very fragile and is already starting to chip. I’ve never worked with resin, but I am a chemist and a crafter. I only have one shot at this so it has to be done correctly. Any help is greatly appreciated. I posted earlier this year, but didn’t see a response.

      Hi Cathy,

What a wonderful memento of holidays past. I can understand why you want to preserve it.

There are so many factors here that I hesitate to encourage you to take this on as your first resin project. Here are some beginner articles to get you started: https://www.resinobsession.com/tag/beginner/
