 Hi,

When I put a cristal quartz in epoxy resin, it becomes transparent and impossible to see. Is there any way to do this so the crystal is visible after molding?

Hi Evi,

Now that the quartz is in resin, it cant reflect the light like it did before.  (Same thing would happen with other gemstones).  I would suggest having some kind of a backing behind.  A layer of resin and glitter would be what I would try.  That will help reflect light back through the quartz so you can see it again.
