      Hello,

I started epoxy resin few months ago to create jewelry with pressed flowers. Everything was doing well but one day the epoxy started to “wrinkle” once it starts drying. And I don’t understand why. Now it does it almost everytime and I don’t understand what I do that is different 🙁

I use very liquid epoxy “liquidissima” from Resinpro. I am very precise with amount of A and B, and I mix them slowly for quite a long time (around 5min).

Is it possible than the epoxy ages and is not good anymore? (I bought it maybe 2months ago, but I used it several times)
Or because I have multiples layers of epoxy?

Thank you very much for your time,
      Tallia

      Hi Tallia,

It sounds like your resin is overheating. This article explains some reasons why your resin gets too hot: https://www.resinobsession.com/resin-resin-resin/why-is-my-resin-hot-reasons-for-hot-resin-resin-getting-hot/

Hi! Thank you for your answer, it’s quite hot at my place (70/80) So it may be that? I’ll try in a more cooler environment, thank you!
