Hi, I’m creating cocktail glasses using scallop seashells as the drinking glass. I think epoxy resin would be the best bet for coating the seashell to make it safe to drink from, but will pouring alcohol into the coated seashell make it unsafe to drink from? I appreciate any input!

Hi Carly,

I’m afraid resins (even the ones sold as food-safe) aren’t tested for these conditions. I can’t say for sure that resin is safe to use for this project.
