  What kind of metal substrate can I do a resin pour on? I have seen successful paintings (pours) on stainless steel panels. What about aluminum? Sheet metal? How do they need to be prepped?

  Resin should bond to any metal surface provided the surface is clean and not greasy.

  If I use lots of silicone spray, can I use a metal mold for producing a slab. Would it be better to create a silicone mold to do this.

    You can, but getting castings out of metal molds can be difficult because they aren’t flexible.
