       Hello all,

A quick question, is it possible to hang a piece outside once its cured, I want to make a memorial piece with a photo in to go on a grave, maybe hung or just placed not sure, but not sure if it will survive, we dont get harsh winters and could be removed if it gets too cold
      Thankyou

      Hi Sarah,

I would suggest using a polyester resin to do an outside piece.  Polyesters are very durable and if you get one that is meant for a commercial purpose (like boats and vessels), it should do well outside.  The only downside is that they dont tend to be UV light resistant.  Once it has cured, I would suggest experimenting with a couple of different UV protectants (like spray coatings for example) to keep your piece looking nice for as long as possible.
