Hello,
I’ve been trying to make resin ring bands out of pure epoxy resin, and after a full hardening period, they still soften due to body heat.

Do you have any recommendations for resin that will hold up against daily wear and body heat?

Hi Alex,

I’m sorry to hear this is happening to you. Some resins, even after a full cure, will still cure soft and/or soften with body heat.

The Resin Obsession super clear resin cures very hard and does great in situations like this. I use it for all my rings and they don’t get soft – even on ones with thin bands.
