So I have mounted a beautiful piece of Japanese paper onto canvas with Pva glue. I now want to resin it. I was told at my local art store I should put some sort of medium on top of the paper before I resin it. But I can’t remember what they told me to use! I purchased many items that day. One of which was Golden Clear Leveling gel. Anyone think this will work BEFORE I resin to protect the paper? Thank you!

Haven’t tried leveling gel, but a clear drying, white glue should work. Something like Mod Podge or Elmer’s.
