I am new to resin but I have a project I have a few questions about. My beloved dog passed away unexpectedly and I was hoping to buy a nice locket and encase some of his hair in resin inside the locket. My question is this: Will any locket/metal type work? Or will resin only adhere to certain things?

Erin,

You should do fine.  Resin sticks to every metal that I have worked with (sterling silver, silver plate, brass, pewter, and copper).  I would suggest mixing your resin first, then either adding the hair, or placing the hair directly into your bezel/mold, then pour the resin.  Either way, you can move the hair around to where you want it to go.
