I am working with a wood surface that has been engraved with the image of a flower. I want to fill in the image with various colors of resin. I will have to work with one color at a time and let that cure before moving on to the next color. Is there a way to contain the resin (when it is still liquid) from overflowing into parts of the flower that are going to be a different color?

      Hi Lenny,

You will need to use something as a ‘resist’ to keep the resin from sticking. This article will give you some ideas: https://www.resinobsession.com/resin-resin-resin/surfaces-resin-wont-stick-to/

Thanks Katherine. I think I will do some experimenting on scrap wood to see which “resit” works best for my application. I really appreciate your help! Take care and stay healthy…
