want to work resin on a lapidary wheel

      Hi I am a lapidary artist wanting to cast blocks of resin with lots of stones inside then cut it up shape an polish the pieces, with diamond polishing wheels under water, I will need to be able to color the resin an including Black that is not transparent at all

      Hi Pete,

      For what you want to do, you will need to use a clear polyurethane resin and the appropriate black colorant. Polyurethanes can withstand the heat and friction of lapidary wheels, sanding tools, buffing wheels, etc. Unfortunately, we do not sell them because they have a short shelf life.

      Instead, if you go to alumilite.com, they should be able to help you get set up with your project. Please let them know we referred you.
