      hello

i am new to casting, and began casting using orthophlatic polyester resin, using mekp and cobalt solution

i have been trying to cast thick square pieces, about 10 inch X 10 inch.

the part cures well, but it comes out warped, from all sides

i have casting without cobalt, but doesnt cure.

so, how do i solve the warpage problem

      thanks

Can you post a picture of the defects?

      Hi dipten
Have you solved this problem yet?
I’ve come into the use of the same products down here in NZ so was looking for answers too. However our castings are only jewelry size with some small plate type art forms.
Since we are still very new to working with polyresin one thought was multiple pour and cure time. However I think we could rule that out as it may affect your appearance result?
Please update this if you found a way.

      Cheers Chris
