If i make an item that will be in water on a regular basis will the water have any effect on the item? Would it break down the resin or dull it in anyway?

Hi Dymond,

I don’t have any experience with the effects on cured resin with constant water exposure. In addition to the water, I do wonder if chlorine, salt, etc. would affect it.

I did an experiment a few years ago running cured resin charms through the washing machine and was happy with the results.
