      Hi,

I have 3D printed a self-watering flowerpot I intend to use for my kitchen herbs. The problem is that 3D printing is not prone to resulting in watertight parts. Is there a suitable (food safe) resin I can apply to it? Brush or spray on – and it needs to stick to the walls as I do so.

      Thanks, Kristian

Hi Kristian, this is the food safe resin we sell: https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/resin/products/alumilite-amazing-clear-cast-epoxy-resin-16-ounces I think it’s worth a try for your process.

You should also know that the resin is going to drip downwards (darn gravity!) You will need to rotate your pot several times during the first two hours or so to minimize the drips.
