Hello. I’ve been working on casting cicada wings into a clear acrylic tray bottom and I’m just struggling! My first layer was not mixed long enough so it was still tacky. Fine. I read up on the subject and learned I could pour another layer on top, which I was already planning to do. Now the second layer is mostly dry but with sticky patches and a crackly, wavy look. Can I use a cotton swab with a little alcohol to clean up the sticky parts? Should I polish the rest of it to try and get rid of the crackly/waviness?
